Wedy, born Merrie Kenwood, is a professional cat burglar L brings onto the Japanese Task Force for her surveillance expertise. Cool and glamorous with a cigarette never far away, she bugs the Yotsuba executives and Higuchi's cars, only to die in a staged accident once Light turns the Death Note on L's hidden allies.
Blonde hair reaching her shoulders and a shapely build define Wedy's appearance. She is rarely without sunglasses, favoring off-the-shoulder tops over long black leather trousers, and at times a full leather outfit. A lit cigarette is almost a permanent fixture.
Wedy carries herself as a calm, capable professional, prized for her command of surveillance. Following the convention L and Watari use, she identifies herself onscreen by a single letter, deliberately picking a lowercase w so her mark is not mistaken for Watari's capital W.
The younger of two Kenwood daughters, Wedy joins the Task Force alongside Aiber at L's invitation, lending her talent for covert observation. She plants listening devices throughout the Yotsuba Group's conference room to capture its weekly sessions and wires Higuchi's vehicles as well, letting the investigators follow his frantic bid to murder Matsuda. When a cornered Higuchi opens fire on her at Sakura TV, Soichiro Yagami shields her. Her luck runs out after L dies: Light inscribes her name in the notebook, and she is killed on January 10th in a Colorado traffic accident. The anime stages it as a fatal heart attack mid-ride, sending her motorcycle skidding past a black cat as she crashes, though only her name, never the manner of death, is shown on the page.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
