Yoshi handles Misa Amane's career as her first manager, working under Yoshida Productions. Her brief role in the story ends almost as soon as it begins: when police quietly detain Misa as a Kira suspect, Yoshi is swept up too on invented charges meant to mask the real reason for the arrest.
Red lipstick and a pair of black-framed glasses define her professional look, and she favors business attire. Her long black hair is gathered into a high bun, set above dark brown eyes.
The manga gives her no real interior life, but her one action paints her as all business. The instant Misa lingers, Yoshi catches her by the hand and steers her straight back to work.
Yoshi shows up a single time, in the moments after Misa first encounters the detective known as Ryuzaki at To-Oh University. She collects her client and hurries her off to her commitments. Not long after, investigators quietly take Misa into custody, suspecting she is the Second Kira. To keep the arrest from causing alarm and to disguise its true purpose, they book Yoshi as well, fabricating a drug-possession charge against her.
Once Misa walks free, Yoshi never resumes her old job. The role passes first to Touta Matsuda and afterward to Kanzo Mogi. Outside the manga, only the anime keeps her, following the original closely. The live-action films drop the handoff scene, letting Light simply tell Misa to head back to work while he leaves for class, and the television drama replaces her with a male manager under different circumstances.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
