Shōji Yonemura is a Japanese scriptwriter whose credits include the Death Note anime, alongside a long run of tokusatsu television work such as Kamen Rider Kabuto.
Yonemura was one of the scriptwriters on the Death Note television anime, joining the team translating Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's manga into Madhouse's 2006-2007 adaptation. His scripts helped keep the tense investigation between Light Yagami and L moving across the series' broadcast run.
