Teruko is a young girl who, alongside her brother Shoichi, seeks out Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma to rescue their captured eldest brother Kiyoshi from the Tsuzumi Mansion. She first appears in chapter 20 of the manga and episode 11 of the anime.
Teruko is a small child with fair skin and shoulder-length black hair pulled into two low pigtails fastened by red bobble ties. She shares the warm amber-brown eyes of her two older brothers. Across her appearance she is dressed in a soft pink kimono cinched with a purple obi patterned in squares.
Little detail is given about her temperament, but her actions speak for her. The fact that she and Shoichi chose to chase after the demon who seized Kiyoshi marks her as brave, devoted, and fiercely attached to her family.
Teruko grew up beside Kiyoshi and Shoichi within their household. One night, while the children were out walking, Kiyoshi was snatched away by the demon Kyogai. Because the injured boy was bleeding from a wound on his leg, the two younger siblings were able to follow his blood trail, which led them to the Tsuzumi Mansion. There they froze in fear, unsure how to proceed.
During the Tsuzumi Mansion arc they encounter Tanjiro and Zenitsu near the gate and explain the kidnapping. Told to wait outside, the pair slip in anyway. The shifting rooms scatter everyone, stranding Teruko with Tanjiro, who promises to keep her safe and has her hide when a demon draws near. She and Kiyoshi are eventually reunited, Tanjiro tends the wounded boy, and after Kyogai is defeated the three children leave the mansion together.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
