History

Rhint met Alisa in the 2060s, after she had parted ways with Jet Black, and the two began dating. Protective of her, he grew uneasy when she borrowed money from the loan shark Law Rentzuo. In 2071 Rentzuo and his men came to collect by force, and Rhint charged them, killing Rentzuo and fleeing with Alisa. The killing hung a 1.8 million bounty over him. The pair regrouped at Alisa's bar to plot their next step, though Jet's visit unsettled them once it became clear Alisa knew the bounty hunter. Learning Jet's profession convinced Rhint their luck had run out. They fled by boat, chased first by Spike Spiegel and then by Jet, until the engine gave out. Wounded, Rhint watched Alisa take up the gun in his defense, but she could not bring herself to fire. He bolted, was caught by Jet, and was urged to find the strength to protect Alisa before being turned over to the Ganymede Police Department.
