Appearance

Ponko has pale skin, pointed ears, and cartoonish red eyes, her face dotted with pink lozenges and framed by vivid blue hair. She wears a long-sleeved green kimono-style top patterned with white lozenges, red shorts cut with matching lozenge shapes, and soft red slippers, finished with a monkey-like tail and a red ball balanced on her head like a hat. Oddly, swallowing bombs seems to swell her chest for a while, though hauling out one of her biggest bombs shrinks it back down.

History

While Tiger's Eye combs Ami's dreams in search of Pegasus, the rest of the Guardians move in to stop him, and he answers by loosing Ponko on them. She flings bombs and is winding up to throw one of her larger ones when Tuxedo Mask strikes. As she readies another attack, he jams his hat into her mouth to cut her off, giving Sailor Chibi Moon the moment she needs to call Pegasus with Twinkle Yell. Sailor Moon then finishes Ponko with Moon Gorgeous Meditation.

Abilities

Erratic and unhinged, Ponko fights with an arsenal of bombs painted in different colors and passed off as ordinary balls. She is even too embarrassed to announce the name of her golden-ball attack, since the Japanese word for it doubles as slang for testicles.
