Sumire Nagara is a WILLE crew member in the Rebuild of Evangelion films, first seen in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. Stationed on the bridge of the AAA Wunder, she runs the battleship's anti-gravity system and flies its defensive maneuvers under Misato Katsuragi's command.
Nagara wears her long hair gathered into a ponytail and has dark skin. On the Wunder's bridge she is the most visible member of the bow crew and the only one without a fitted seat, perching instead on a kind of tall stool at her station.
Outwardly Nagara reads as serious and self-contained, attending to her own duties rather than worrying over the people around her. That composure hides nerves: at the Wunder's first launch she raises no objection about mechanical risk, yet privately fears she will not manage to fly the ship properly.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
The short EVANGELION 3.0: (-46h) shows Nagara breezing through a thirty-pull-up drill, finishing while Midori Kitakami and Hideki Tama are still stuck at twenty, then walking off ahead of them.
Like nearly everyone in WILLE, she has no revealed past. In Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo she first appears as Shinji Ikari is escorted across the Wunder's deck, sparing the boy only a glance. Once the main engine ignites she switches her control bar into a three-dimensional mode that projects every vessel surrounding the Wunder, and when the Nemesis Series attacks she executes the defensive maneuvers under Misato's direction, destroying the attackers. Through the remainder of the film, including the Fourth Impact, her role stays in the background, and she returns with the crew in Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time.
Her name carries naval echoes: Nagara was a light cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the early 1920s, while Sumire matches a Tachibana-class destroyer of the mid-1940s.
