Musha Unit-01 is a SENTINEL action figure that reimagines the Evangelion Unit-01 as a samurai, born of the EVANGELION x Takashi Okazaki tie-up. Takashi Okazaki's concept dresses the Eva in warrior armor and arms it with a long Ōdachi and paired short swords.
Sold under SENTINEL's RIOBOT brand, this figure translates the Rebuild-era Evangelion Unit-01 into feudal Japanese styling as the EVANGELION x Takashi Okazaki line's flagship piece. Its formal product name reads Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon Musha Test Type-01.
The design's central conceit is treating the Eva's restraint plating as samurai equipment: the armor pieces are redistributed across the body to read as a warrior's battle dress. The purple base coat shifts to a new shade accented with green, while gold picks out the chest placket and both shoulder pylons. Period details abound. The feet become kōgake, armored footwear; sode plates hang from the pylons; a red uwa-obi wraps the waist; a golden wakidate crest replaces the familiar lone horn; and the hakama trades the expected purple for black and gray. The right hip armor doubles as a mount for the figure's long sword.
Its armament comprises two kodachi, short blades that slot into the shoulder pylons for storage, and the Ōdachi Magoroku, a full-length sword carried in a hip sheath.
Takashi Okazaki supplied the concept art, with Higashi Takayuki sculpting the prototype, N.E assisting production, and Hayakawa Youji handling the color finish. SENTINEL announced the piece on 23 July 2023 at its 10th Anniversary Exhibition, opened pre-orders three days later, and shipped it in February 2025 at 33,000 yen with tax. The finished figure stands 255mm tall in ABS, PVC, and POM plastics with diecast metal, packing four sets of swap-out wrists, the Ōdachi and its sheath, both kodachi, and a spare wakidate.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
