Overview
This combined Shinkalion Z debuts in "Sortie, Shinkalion Z 500 TYPE EVA", the 21st episode of the TV animation Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z. It forms when the Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA joins with the Zailiner μSky TYPE EVA support train, operating under NERV.
Takara Tomy adapted the combination into a transforming toy under the Plarail Z Combine line on 18 December 2021, with a November 2022 reissue priced at 9,350 yen.
Function
The merged robot keeps the Unit-01 styling of its base form: a helmet and collar borrowed from the Eva, plus purple and green paneling with black trim. It measures 26.5 meters and 122 tons, assembled from more than four cars with the Zailiner docked as an additional car on the left shoulder, and it retains the ability to project an A.T. Field.
Its expanded arsenal includes the μSky Blade, the μSky Progressive Signal Knife, and the μSky Shield, a large guard built from the Zailiner's nose facade and much of its roof. The Spear of Junctionus rounds out its weaponry.
