Toho's mechanical dragon crosses into the Evangelion universe as the Type 3 Kiryū, the Mechagodzilla adopted by the GODZILLA vs EVANGELION collaboration. Introduced to the crossover through the pachinko game Second Impact G, the machine originates in the 2002 film Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.
Type 3 Kiryū, also called Mechagodzilla, is the incarnation of Toho's robot kaiju that debuted on film in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. The GODZILLA vs EVANGELION collaboration folds it into its shared continuity, where the machine makes its entrance in PACHINKO GODZILLA vs. EVANGELION: Second Impact G.
Within the pachinko storyline, Godzilla and NERV fight side by side to turn back King Ghidorah's first invasion. Unsettled by Godzilla's unreadable behavior, NERV then builds the Kiryū as a safeguard against the monster. The precaution backfires: when the X Seijin mount a fresh invasion of Earth, resurrecting Gigan, Radon, Biollante, and Kaiser Ghidorah to spread chaos worldwide, the aliens seize the Type 3 Kiryū while NERV is stretched thin against the revived monsters and turn the weapon on its creators.
NERV constructs and initially controls the machine before losing it to the X Seijin. The mecha's first collaboration outing actually predates the pachinko: in the mobile game Monster Strike, featured as part of the same crossover, Asuka Shikinami Langley serves as its pilot. The design has also spawned a family of merchandise recolors keyed to Evangelion units, including versions styled after Units 00, 01, 02, and 08.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
