Amai

Brown hair falls in a long fringe across Amai's white forehead protector, framing a young face set with big, dark eyes. His outfit is Kumogakure's regular issue, sleeveless and buttoned up to a high, closed collar.

Duty drives Amai, who does whatever he can to aid others and sharpen his craft while never losing sight of where his skills fall short. Unlike most of his fellow villagers, he carries little suspicion toward outside nations, which is why he readily sought Tsunade's help. Karai, for his part, seems to regard him as rather soft.

Karai fell during an operation carried out alongside the Fourth Raikage, and though the team came away with the scroll they had gone after, Amai could not mend his stricken comrade once Karai was brought to him. Catching sight of Tsunade in town, he passed word to the Raikage; Karai protested, yet the Raikage resolved to have her treat him. Approaching her, Amai pleaded for his ally's life even after she refused over the enmity between their countries, and he later assisted Shizune through the operation that drew the Exploding Insect out of Karai's chest cavity. A capable medic, Amai commands the Mystical Palm Technique, which he called on to stem the blood loss during that surgery.
