Ameyuri Ringo is the lone confirmed woman among the previous generation of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, a Kirigakure blade master who fought with the twin lightning swords Kiba. Playful and merciless, she hunts her chosen prey without fail, yet reserves genuine respect for any opponent brave enough to test her.
Standing notably shorter than her fellow swordsmen, Ameyuri wears her red hair long and her eyes are black. Alongside a Kiri forehead protector she binds a plain cloth about her head, knotted so its ends jut upward at each side while the rest of her hair spills down. Her clothing runs to a loose pinstriped shirt tied off with a dark obi, black trousers that billow toward the ankles in the manner of hakama, and striped leg-warmers. Like the rest of her generation she leaves bandages hanging around her neck and bares a set of jagged teeth.
Ameyuri approaches a fight with the same gleeful cruelty as her swordsmen brethren, delighting in tormenting whoever she faces. She is said to never lose track of a target and to run down any survivor until none remain. Still, a worthy challenger earns her admiration; she calls such foes her meals and treats their skill and nerve with real regard. Omoi won that regard by standing his ground while his allies ran and nearly matching her, prompting her to hand him her swords and voice a hope that they might meet again beyond death.
Counted among Kirigakure's finest as a member of its strongest-ever swordsmen generation, Ameyuri was a formidable shinobi. She could kill in silence, shown as she cut through the Allied Shinobi Forces' Third Division while cloaked by Zabuza Momochi's concealing mist, and she was a gifted tracker who, by one account, never lost her quarry. Might Guy reckoned a hundred chūnin together could not overcome her. Her true speciality lay in Lightning Release and the blade: wielding the twin Kiba, said to be the keenest swords ever forged and able to sever anything, she ran lightning through them much like chakra flow, fighting ambidextrously and, in the anime, spinning in agile sweeps to cut down everyone around her. Her techniques ranged from ringing enemies in lightning for a close-range strike to firing precise individual bolts and unleashing attacks that could ravage an entire landscape.
Reincarnated by Kabuto Yakushi's Impure World technique during the Fourth Shinobi World War, Ameyuri joined the swordsmen summoned against the Third Division, recovering Kiba from a scroll held by Mangetsu Hōzuki and carving through shinobi behind a veil of mist until Zabuza's defeat exposed her, after which she was sealed. In the anime she resurfaced to slaughter more troops before Omoi stayed behind to avenge Yurui; impressed, she spared him until he baited her into her strongest technique over a bottomless marsh, trapping them both. As Sai pulled Omoi free and she sank, the two traded parting gifts, his lollipop for her swords. Once the reincarnation jutsu was released, her soul returned to the afterlife.

We ranked the six most popular women of Naruto from worst to first, and our number one is going to start a fight. The official poll got it wrong....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
