Fubuki Kakuyoku

A curvy woman with green eyes, she wears a grey helmet from which her spiky lilac hair juts through two openings like a pair of pigtails. Small round eyebrows of dark pink sit above her eyes, and like her comrades she goes into battle in chakra armor.

Proud to the edge of arrogance, Fubuki wears a near-permanent smirk, keeping it up even mid-fight while she warns her foes never to sell the Snow ninja short.

Fubuki fights with Ice Release, though for her team it is no bloodline trait, since they must draw on ice that already exists. She raises pillars of ice from the ground to cage enemies or block attacks and looses flying needles of ice that she steers from a distance. Her chakra armor shields her from ninjutsu and genjutsu while boosting her own power, and hers adds wings that let her glide swiftly through the air.

A decade before the film's events, she takes part in the coup that topples Sōsetsu Kazahana, ruler of the Land of Snow, on Dotō Kazahana's orders, serving in his three-person unit beside Nadare Rōga and Mizore Fuyukuma. When a movie starring Koyuki Kazahana is being shot in the Hidden Snow, the trio ambushes the crew and draws Team 7 into a fight. Fubuki squares off against Sasuke Uchiha and answers his Fire Release with ice, while Kakashi's duel with Nadare opens a window for the crew and Konoha ninja to withdraw. Dotō later sends the three to finish the Konoha shinobi off. Facing Sasuke a second time, Fubuki is beaten and hurled down toward Mizore, and the collision sets off both of their chakra armors in an explosion that kills her. Her name reads with a wintry meaning: Fubuki as snowstorm and Kakuyoku as crane wing.
