History

During the Academy Arc of the New Era, Boruto Uzumaki and Mitsuki began to sink and drown after pulling Shino free of the Nue's possession. Shino answered by summoning this beast, which burst up out of the water with the pair in tow and set them down safely on solid ground. The insect closely echoes the unfamiliar species Shino once dreamed of finding while trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
