Ise was a doctor from Amegakure and the father of Nagato, slain amid the Second Shinobi World War. Frightened Konoha shinobi killed him, an act that awakened his son's Rinnegan and set in motion the tragedy shaping Nagato's future.
Ise kept his black hair cropped short and dressed simply: a dark-beige shirt with black trousers and sandals, and white bandages wound underneath the trousers.
A physician who gave help even amid wartime, Ise was a man of deep compassion. His devotion to his son ran just as strong, and he surrendered his own life so that Nagato could flee.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
The Second Shinobi World War found Ise and Fusō, his wife, giving humanitarian aid when disaster struck in a single night. While the family sheltered inside their war-battered home, Konoha ninja forced their way in hunting for food and caught them attempting to slip off. Ise stood and fought so that Nagato might have a moment to slip clear, but the intruders mistook the pair for enemy shinobi, cutting down Fusō first and then the anguished Ise.
Nagato watched the whole thing, and in that instant his Rinnegan awakened, which allowed him to strike down both attackers. He laid his parents to rest before setting out in search of food. Losing them was the earliest great grief of his life and, to his mind, evidence that the peace Konoha championed was bought with the lives of other people. Later remarks imply the family carried Uzumaki blood, and perhaps a Senju line as well.
