Isshiki Ōtsutsuki

Character

Isshiki Otsutsuki is a high-ranking member of the Otsutsuki main family who arrived on Earth alongside Kaguya to cultivate a God Tree. Left for dead by her betrayal, he survived inside the monk Jigen and, centuries later, steered the organization Kara toward the same chakra-fruit harvest.

Appearance

A single long horn grows from Isshiki's left brow, curling around his skull to emerge near his right temple like a crown. His skin is pale, and his mismatched eyes set him apart at once: a Kokugan on the right, a Byakugan on the left. Short-cropped, pale blue hair, brow, and goatee carry the zigzag partings common to his clan, while his nails are lacquered deep black. Twin tattoos mark him, a vertical run of six magatama capped by a black mallet crest across his chest and a matching line of smaller mallets down his back. He favors an elegant white tailcoat with maroon lining and an oversized folded collar worn open over a bare torso, paired with loose black trousers that spill over his bare feet, the coat embroidered to echo his markings.

Personality

Ruthless and single-minded, Isshiki weighs no life against his own ambitions, discarding allies and enemies alike the instant they stop serving him. He seized Jigen's body outright and mocked the monk's suffering, and he treated fellow clansmen and the boy Kawaki as mere raw material; he raised Kawaki as an adopted son while subjecting him to brutal training and abuse, warping the child into someone violent and traumatized. An unshakable sense of superiority underlies everything he does. He addresses foes and followers alike with cold courtesy, even apologizing for small breaches of etiquette, yet the manners mask utter contempt, since he cannot picture anyone as his equal. Faced with someone who genuinely threatens him, that composure cracks into fury.

He is refined to the point of vanity, storing wine, fine cutlery, and trinkets in his pocket dimension and savoring only the most elegant meals. Beneath the arrogance sits a careful, deceptive strategist: he saw through Koji and Amado's treachery, installed limiters in the loyal Code, and had Amado destroy any cyborg that outmatched Jigen. He prizes his own survival above nearly all else, and when Naruto's Baryon Mode began eating away his already shortened lifespan he lost his poise entirely, raging and finally showing raw terror at the prospect of a permanent death. He believes genetics fix every fate, waited over a thousand years to see his plan through, and, even in death, entrusted the Otsutsuki Will and a list of those to be avenged to Code, the one subordinate he truly cherished.

Abilities

Outranking even Kaguya, Isshiki wields power so vast that Jigen's frame could barely contain it, which forced him to ration its use; still, while limited he could press both Naruto and Sasuke at once, and fully resurrected he brushed the two legends aside. Amado warned that in a perfect vessel he could destroy the planet unopposed. He is monstrously fast, strong, and durable, unharmed by a direct kick from a Sage-empowered Naruto and calm enough to simply absorb Amaterasu's flames. As an Otsutsuki he flies, projects illusory images of himself across dimensions using Yin Release, and fights expertly with a staff. His Space-Time Ninjutsu opens a private world that doubles as a colossal coffin, a sealing device able to imprison even Naruto and Kurama.

His Kama is the core of his design: a compressed backup of his biology that he brands onto a host, granting his powers and chakra-absorption while slowly overwriting the host's identity so that he can be reborn. He placed it on Jigen to survive Kaguya's attack, then, through Amado's science, tried to transfer it toward better vessels, with Kawaki the sole survivor of fifteen children. His Kokugan lets him perceive life force and use Sukunahikona and Daikokuten to shrink targets and stash them in a timeless pocket space, from which he summons black rods that impale and drain chakra along with sense-jamming black cubes; a Byakugan sits in his left eye. Centuries on Earth also gave him deep knowledge of shinobi and the wealth to bankroll Kara. His plan unraveled when Koji's flames forced an imperfect resurrection that erased his other Kama seals, and Naruto's life-draining Baryon Mode ran out his remaining time; after branding a decoy shadow clone of Kawaki instead of the real boy, he crumbled to dust, leaving his final will to Code.
