Concealed cannons in Jako's wrists let him fire a stream of liquefied chakra, blasting it at crushing pressure to wound foes or hardening it around them to lock them in place. The same substance doubles as a line he can swing from in midair, and once solidified it can be molded into swords for close-quarters fighting.
Jako and his bandits were hauling treasure lifted from the daimyō's sister when one of them nearly fumbled it and Naruto snatched it away. Rather than wrest it back from Naruto and Sasuke directly, the gang abducted Sakura instead. The pair recovered the treasure regardless and went on to defeat Jako and his crew.
