Appearance

A savage glint sits in his eyes above sharp, masculine features and pale skin. Over a long-sleeved shirt he throws a sleeveless kimono.

Personality

Like most of his people, he lived for violence and reveled in a fight. Pride made him rash, and he threw his clan at the far better organized Mist purely to flaunt their capacity for terror, urging Kimimaro to abandon thought and strike on instinct alone. Courage he had in abundance, strategy almost none, and when cornered his only plan was to die swinging and enjoy it. He was equally cold toward any clansman who unnerved him, caging Kimimaro out of fear of the boy's rare abilities and freeing him only to serve the clan's ends.

History

Deeming Kimimaro too dangerous even by Kaguya standards, the patriarch held him prisoner until he needed the boy's strength to raze Kirigakure. Reaching the village's edge, he sent the whole clan pouring in to make a spectacle of their ferocity. The Kaguya seized an early advantage, but Kiri's forces soon encircled and overwhelmed them. Facing certain defeat, he ordered his survivors to take as many enemies down with them as they could, a last stand that ended with the entire clan slaughtered save for Kimimaro. That he was among the final few to fall suggests he was a formidable fighter in his own right, though his skills were never shown outright.
