Once training to become a ninja in Sunagakure, Kashike spends his boyhood kicking a football around the streets with a tight-knit group of friends. An early, painful run-in with Gaara's runaway power leaves him skittish for good and wary of the young jinchuriki.
A white tank-top-style shirt is Kashike's usual garb. His dark, unruly hair is long, pulled back into a ponytail, and his eyes are small and black.
Devoted to his companions, Kashike is a jittery soul, having stayed that way ever since Gaara hurt him that one time, and little fails to rattle him. The anime adds a nastier layer, casting him as something of a bully who pelts Shira with stones over the boy's lack of ninja talent.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Alongside Abiru, Tsuchino, and Tomari, Kashike whiles away his days kicking a ball around Sunagakure. Trying to join their game, Gaara hurts the group by accident, then comes to Kashike with ointment as a peace offering, only for Kashike to reject it and call him a freak; the dread born that day never truly fades. The anime also shows him and three companions driving Shira away, since the boy's weakness in ninjutsu and genjutsu keeps him out of the Academy.
Kashike is a former Academy student from Sunagakure who used to play football with his friends in the streets. An early injury from Gaara's uncontrolled sand power left him permanently nervous and wary of the young jinchuriki.
Kashike is afraid of Gaara because Gaara accidentally hurt him and his friends with sand while trying to join their game as a child. Gaara later offered ointment as an apology, but Kashike rejected it and called him a freak, deepening the rift between them.
When Gaara tried to join Kashike's game, his uncontrolled sand accidentally injured Kashike and his friends. Gaara then offered ointment to make amends, but Kashike refused it and called him a freak.
Kashike's friends in Sunagakure are Abiru, Tsuchino, and Tomari, with whom he spends his days kicking a ball around. All four are affected by the incident with Gaara's sand.
In the Naruto anime, Kashike is portrayed as something of a bully, throwing stones at a boy named Shira because of his lack of ninja talent. This trait is added for the anime and is not part of his original depiction.
