This Kokuyo is a puppeteer who pursued Shizuka's hand by force, aiming to marry the leader of Nadeshiko Village against her will so that he might rule it, no matter how often she rejected him.
Kokuyo's long brown hair falls around an angular face set with dark eyes, and he wears square-framed glasses. His outfit consists of a light pink shirt beneath a purple waistcoat, white trousers, and brown shoes.
Self-serving to the bone, Kokuyo sought marriage not for affection but purely as a means to seize power. He was also doggedly persistent and patient enough to play a long game, mapping out a scheme in which he would duel Shizuka ninety-nine separate times with different puppets in order to unlock a technique that would drag her into a union she never wanted.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Kokuyo fights through the Puppet Technique, directing an array of mechanical, robot-like marionettes. His signature method, the Hundred Puppet Soul Binding, planted a bolt into his opponent every time one of his puppets was destroyed, and once the hundredth fell, it let him seize control of that target's body by force, much like a technique that commandeers a living person as a puppet. His campaign against the Nadeshiko leader, however, ended in failure. He confronted Shizuka and her attendant Tokiwa, only for his puppet to be shattered by her Hardliner Revolving Cut and for the blast to hurl him away. He returned to disrupt her bout with Naruto Uzumaki, trapping her inside a larger puppet robot, and when she destroyed the hundredth puppet his binding technique triggered and he began commandeering her body. Naruto simply severed his chakra threads and blasted him aside with a Rasengan.
