Madam Shijimi

Madam Shijimi is a heavyset woman whose dark brown hair is gathered into three rounded puffs. She favours pink lipstick, matching pink nail polish, and a sweep of purple eyeshadow, and her fingers are crowded with rings in an assortment of colours.

She is described as free-spending, self-admiring, and given to charity all at once. Above all she adores her cat, an affection the aloof Tora plainly does not return.

In Part I her cat Tora bolts once again, and she engages Team 7 of Konoha, freshly minted genin, to track it down; the animal is duly captured and delivered back. The anime revisits the gag in Part II when Tora escapes anew and Team Ebisu is handed the retrieval job, with the same outcome.

The game Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles paints a far less flattering portrait of her. There she is scheming and dishonest, hiring bandits to fake a raid on her villa so she can hide that her own cat smashed her valuables. She tries to exploit Naruto's good faith, falsely claiming she favours him for once recovering the cat, and stiffs the bandits on the pay she had promised them, becoming a genuine burden to Naruto and Shikamaru.
