Team Ebisu

This Konohagakure unit comes together during the years that separate Part I from Part II, with Ebisu taking charge of its three young members: Konohamaru Sarutobi, Udon, and Moegi. Before Ebisu stepped in as instructor, the same children operated under Konohamaru's own leadership, calling themselves the Konohamaru Army Corps.

The squad handles a string of assignments across the anime. In one D-rank job they are tasked with tracking down Tora the missing cat, mirroring an early Team 7 chore, and like that squad they push for a C-rank afterward. Unlike Team 7, their request is turned down, and they wind up chasing the same runaway cat six more times. During the Twelve Guardian Ninja storyline they take on an A-rank duty to move Leaf villagers to safety amid Furido's attack. Once that threat is dealt with, the group pitches in on rebuilding the village by hauling construction materials.

Konohamaru Sarutobi, Udon, and Moegi form the trio at the heart of the squad, with Ebisu overseeing them in the present-day arcs. Konohamaru had earlier commanded the same group himself under the Army Corps name, also rendered as the Konohamaru Ninja Squad in some translations.
