Minoji

Two green lines trail from the corners of Minoji's eyes back toward his ears, and his messy, short dark hair is swept back beneath a forehead protector. For clothing he favors a grey suit whose jacket rises in a high collar, paired with matching grey trousers.

Curiosity drives Minoji, though he holds out no real confidence that his team can clear the Chunin Exams' second phase.

During his own Chunin Exams, Minoji and his squad reach the second phase, but as their hopes fade he and Shibire open their scroll, which knocks them out and ends their run. Roughly two years afterward he joins the combined Exams that Sunagakure and Konohagakure put on together. The first phase scatters the teammates into separate rooms, placing him in room two, where Shikamaru Nara explains that each member answers a lone question while the team's total must land on exactly one hundred. Baffled, Minoji hears the genin next door shouting for their comrades and frantically cries out his own teammates' names in turn. A bonus prompt then asks, by unanimous vote, which member they would sacrifice as a decoy; his group leaves it blank and moves on, which proves correct since the next round needs a whole team. A thinning race to Suna caps the field at the first thirty squads, and Minoji's team falls short and is eliminated. The OVA titled Mission: Protect the Waterfall Village features a Takigakure ninja who resembles him.
