Mizura

Illness has left Mizura gaunt, his ribs pressing visibly against his skin. His hair falls to a medium length in a muted shade of purple, matched by heavy, bushy brows of the same tone, and his large brown irises lack any visible pupils. A tan kimono jacket trimmed in navy blue makes up his usual outfit. Spreading across his whole body are flame-shaped purple marks left by the star training, and partway through his story Naruto whittles him a walking cane fitted with a small bell.

Selflessness defines Mizura. He would sooner lay down his own life than watch a comrade fall, and his loyalty to Hoshigakure drives him to endure almost any hardship. He holds his fellow genin close, sharing a warm bond with Sumaru and Hokuto, the latter of whom tends to him through his sickness.

Like others among Hoshigakure's young ninja, Mizura took up the meteorite training method hoping to raise his strength, and like many before him he paid the price, collapsing under its effects and being confined to a sickbed. When Neji examined him with the Byakugan, he found the boy's chakra network running wild, the excess energy gnawing at his organs from within. To lay the danger bare, Mizura exposed his chest and revealed the purple marks the regimen had left, backing up Hokuto's warnings.

When Akahoshi loosed an arrow meant to end Hokuto, Mizura threw himself into its path and took the hit, urging her as he fell to keep resisting the training in his stead. Once Naruto brought Akahoshi down, Mizura and the other Hoshi genin were moved to Konoha for proper care, and Shizune later confirmed he would make a full recovery. After his discharge he walks the village streets with Hokuto and Sumaru, looking on as Naruto and Sumaru argue over which of them will reach the rank of Kage first.
