Nadare Rōga

Small diagonal purple marks sit beneath each of Nadare's teal, pupilless eyes, and thick purple dots stand in for eyebrows. A happuri-style forehead protector frames his face, and his long purple hair is bound in a ponytail that trails down his back, with one thin strand hanging over the right side of his face.

Arrogance colored Nadare, enough that he christened one of his own techniques after himself, though the name did fit it well. He leaned so heavily on his Chakra Armour that he let his taijutsu training lapse, a gap that eventually undid him. He needled Kakashi about fleeing their earlier meeting yet still admired the man's cunning, and toward Doto Kazahana he was deferential, quick to apologize for any failure and rush to fix it.

A decade before the film's plot, Nadare took part in toppling Sosetsu Kazahana on the orders of Doto, the daimyo's brother, and briefly crossed blades with Kakashi during the coup. As Doto's apparent second, he was a capable shinobi, competent enough in taijutsu to trade short exchanges with Kakashi though he lost a drawn-out fight. His Ice Release differed from the Yuki clan's inherited bloodline. Rather than creating ice from chakra, he manipulated the snow and frost already around him, shaping frozen creatures to batter foes or to freeze opposing water techniques.

When the two men met again years later, his Chakra Armour let him counter Kakashi's Lightning Cutter, but Kakashi caught him in midair and drove him headfirst into the rocks below, breaking his neck and ending his life.
