Dotō Kazahana

Doto conceals a black prototype set of Chakra Armour beneath his outer robe. Modeled after the gliding suits worn by his subordinates, the armour hides folding wings and shields him so completely that it can shrug off a Chidori, leaving only a crack in its surface.

Cruelty runs through everything Doto does. Arrogant, cold, and boundlessly ambitious, he thinks nothing of killing his own kin to clear a path to power, and he laughs with delight as others are slaughtered on his order. His usual composure masks a violent temper that erupts the moment his plans are frustrated, and even ruling the Land of Snow fails to satisfy him; his gaze is fixed on toppling the Five Great Shinobi Countries.

Doto's rise begins with a revolt he launches while chasing a fabled treasure, a coup that ends with the death of his brother Sosetsu, then the reigning daimyo, and sends his niece Koyuki fleeing to live as the actress Yukie Fujikaze. Years later he learns that Kakashi Hatake is guarding Koyuki and gives chase aboard a train, cutting down Sandayu Asama and many Yukigakure fighters with a kunai-launching device before Team Kakashi wrecks the train.

He captures Koyuki by blimp, only to find her necklace is a fake, and lays a trap at his castle. Although he prefers to let subordinates like Nadare, Fubuki, and Mizore do his fighting, Doto proves a capable shinobi in his own right, commanding powerful ice techniques that summon dragons of black ice and shielded by his Chakra Armour. When Koyuki tries to stab him, the hidden armour saves his life.

He carries her off to the rainbow glacier, where the necklace turns out to be a key, not to treasure, but to a generator that would thaw the region into the Land of Spring, dashing his dreams of conquest. In the climactic clash Naruto's Nine-Tailed chakra revives him from a near-drowning and breaks the device suppressing his own power; Doto unleashes his Ice Release: Twin Dragon Blizzard, but Naruto dodges and strikes him with the rainbow-charged Seven-Coloured Rasengan, shattering the armour and hurling him fatally into a generator wall, which ironically brings spring to the Land of Snow.
