Ohagi

Ohagi is an elderly dango chef and a longtime resident of Konohagakure's old town. He is the grandfather of Yubeshi.

Proud of his old-town roots, Ohagi is quick to take offense when the new city sidelines him, and he clings to his grievance with Taruto even after reconciliation is offered. Beneath the stubbornness, he still values the old friendship and is willing to let the feud go for the sake of his granddaughter's happiness.

Ohagi and Taruto, a newer city resident, share a long friendship and a love of cooking, together inventing a dango shortcake that blends their specialties. The bond fractures when the new city hands Taruto charge of its own fireworks show. After the rift spills into a public argument that catches Boruto's attention, and Sabure explains its origin, Boruto coaxes Ohagi into talking things out and brings the two sides together over their shared dessert, though it fails to mend anything. Kakashi proposes settling the matter with a fireworks contest for the right to run the display, but on the day he quietly swaps the fireworks, prompting the old-town crowd to ridicule their own show and lose interest in the rivalry. Urged on by Yubeshi so she can marry Sabure, Ohagi finally makes up with Taruto, and the two attend their grandchildren's wedding.
