Yubeshi

Yubeshi is seen as a waitress at a dango shop set in the older part of Konohagakure, where she tends to the patrons and keeps the counter running.

Gracious and considerate with customers, Yubeshi is quick to apologise for the disruption the neighbourhood quarrel causes and offers Kakashi a free dish to smooth things over. She is deeply devoted to Sabure, yet reluctant to burden either grandfather with news of their engagement. In the end she finds the nerve to press her own grandfather into ending the feud so the wedding can go ahead.

Yubeshi belongs to the old-town community of Konoha, and she falls for Sabure, whose grandfather Taruto had once been a friend of her own grandfather. A dispute over a festival's fireworks drove a wedge between the two elders and their districts, leaving the couple too afraid to admit they had already chosen a wedding day. When Ohagi and the old-town residents clashed with Taruto's side, the pair tried to calm the argument. In the confusion Ohagi knocked over tea meant for Kakashi, and Yubeshi smoothed things over with an apology and a complimentary plate.

She laid out the roots of the quarrel and confirmed Boruto's hunch that she and Sabure were sweethearts. Comparing the tangle to a storyline from the Icha Icha books, Kakashi grew intrigued when she produced a rare first edition holding a plot so intense it had been cut from later printings after readers fainted, and she promised him the volume if he could resolve the fireworks feud. Attempts to reunite the elders through their old dango shortcake recipe fell flat, and the couple refused to simply run off and elope. Kakashi reframed the rivalry as a contest, which drained the elders' appetite for fighting, and Yubeshi's plea finally moved Ohagi and Taruto to make peace and attend their grandchildren's wedding.
