Sari

Sari looks out through big brown eyes, her long brown hair split by a single bang that falls down the middle of her face. She fastens her forehead protector bandanna-style and wears a high-collared shirt in beige, her waist wrapped in bandages. A purple skirt slit along the sides, blue stockings reaching the thighs, guards on her arms, and sandals round out the outfit.

Sari is devoted to her friend Matsuri and shares her fierce admiration for Gaara, the leader of their village. That loyalty runs deep enough that she steps forward to help rescue him when the situation demands it, even volunteering for the mission.

In Part II, Sari accompanies Matsuri and other Suna shinobi in the push to recover Gaara after the Akatsuki abduct him. Overjoyed to find him alive, she assures Ittetsu that the Kazekage is far too strong to be brought down so easily, then dashes to his side alongside Matsuri, bowling Naruto over in the rush. Around the time of the Kage Summit, she stands among the villagers, near Baki and Ebizo, who gather to see Gaara off with Kankuro and Temari, urging the older siblings to look after him. She also surfaces in Gaara's memories in Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Will of Fire, when he reflects on the people of Suna he is sworn to protect.
