History
During the Kazekage Rescue Mission, Kankuro was recovered from the desert after Sasori poisoned him. Sekka and his pupil, Ryokan, tried to treat him but could not turn the case around. He then assisted Sakura Haruno, who managed to draw out the poison and prepare an antidote, in tending to Kankuro.
