Abilities

Shiromari's power lies in total transformation. It can reshape itself so thoroughly that it passes for a vast castle, conjuring even the fine interior touches of lamps, pictures, staircases, and carpeting, and it can hold such a form for an indefinite span. The chameleon is also large enough to swallow whole groups of people. Kōza Kubisaki, the castle's lord, summoned it as a final measure during a war and set it to devour anyone who came near, but he died before releasing it and left it tethered to the summoning scroll.

Long after, Naruto, Hinata, and Kiba wandered into the disguised castle while searching for a group of missing people and were swallowed. Hunting for the scroll that kept it bound, they were guided to it by the lord's spirit, who pitied the creature for its endless vigil. Naruto sliced the scroll apart to dismiss the summon and blasted his way out with a Rasengan.
