Shitō Akimichi is a jōnin of Konohagakure's Akimichi clan. He fought during Pain's invasion and later stood guard duty in the Fourth Shinobi World War, wielding his family's signature body-expansion techniques.
Broad and heavily built like the rest of his clan, Shitō ties his short brown hair up in a topknot ponytail. His cheeks bear the Akimichi clan's distinctive markings, and he dresses in the samurai-style garb common to his relatives, with the kanji for food stitched across the front.
Shitō puts his clan's hidden arts to use, drawing on the Partial Multi-Size Technique to enlarge parts of his body during his clash with Pain. He also carries a bō staff into battle, which points to training in weaponry.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
When Pain assaulted Konoha, Shitō joined a small band of shinobi backing Kakashi Hatake against the Deva Path. The group struck from four sides at once, only to be swept aside almost immediately by Shinra Tensei. In the Fourth Shinobi World War, he was posted to the Island Turtle to help keep Naruto Uzumaki inside the chakra isolation chamber. Moving in with Maruten to stop Naruto from leaving the falls, he and the others were hurled backward through the water, after which Shibi ordered them to give chase. In the anime, Shitō is seen among those released from the Infinite Tsukuyomi by Naruto and Sasuke.
