As a student of Biwako Sarutobi, Taji was tasked with assisting the birth of Kushina Uzumaki's child, which placed her among the handful aware of the unusual and delicate circumstances surrounding it. Not long after the baby, Naruto, was born, both she and Biwako were slain by Obito Uchiha.
