History
He oversaw the Todoroki Shrine Race, in which the Wagarashi family, chiefly Kyuroku, and the daimyo's own minister ran against Idate Morino, who competed for the Wasabi family under Jirocho. Once his people uncovered the cheating, the daimyo stripped the minister of his post and sent him into Buddhist life, while ordering Kyuroku to break up the Wagarashi clan as punishment for their conduct. He surfaces again afterward, when Tsunade notes that one of his belongings had been taken by the thief Gosunkugi.
