Todoroki

The Shinobazu raid that razed his home years earlier killed his parents, and Todoroki glimpsed Gantetsu with a hand over his brother Akio's mouth just as burning wreckage crashed down around the pair. Assuming Akio had died, he devoted himself to preparing for revenge. That resolve carried him to the escort mission taken on by Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Rock Lee. When a Shinobazu ninja sheared the ship apart with a wire technique, Todoroki found himself stranded with Naruto and Gantetsu, and he turned on both, willing to kill them to claim vengeance and walk away blameless. Learning his brother had survived changed everything: he grudgingly accepted Gantetsu's help, reunited with Akio, and told the prisoner that although forgiveness was impossible, he could remain to care for his orphans.
