Tsukune is a mischief-loving Academy student in Konohagakure whose pranks are really a bid for attention. Told that a young Naruto once pulled the same stunts, he goes so far as to swipe the Scroll of Seals, only for Iruka to gently steer him toward a better path.
He wears his brown hair short and spiky, set above eyes of a flat, stone-grey shade.
A born troublemaker, Tsukune torments his instructors alongside classmates Sansho and Mibuna. Much like Naruto in his own school days, he acts out mainly to be noticed, an urge strong enough that he once made off with what he assumed was the Scroll of Seals. He is a little gullible too, walking straight into Iruka's bluff and owning up to his vandalism. In time Iruka's influence redirects that energy, and Tsukune sets his sights on becoming Hokage and outdoing Naruto.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
During Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Tsukune and his two friends are caught defacing property around the village. They insist they were only playing hide-and-seek, but Iruka coaxes a confession out of them. When Iruka mentions that Naruto had been a far worse delinquent as a student, the trio flatly refuse to believe it. Learning that Naruto had once stolen the Scroll of Seals, Tsukune promptly does the same and flees to the Hokage Rock, where Iruka tracks him down with help from Sansho and Mibuna. Realising the boy simply craves recognition, Iruka apologises for holding him up against past students, and Tsukune pledges to work harder from then on.
