Tsume Inuzuka

Tsume carries the same feral look as her son Kiba. Her brown hair grows long, spiky, and untamed, and her pupils narrow into vertical slits above elongated fangs and claw-like nails. The clan's fang marks sit on her cheeks, more markings frame her eyes, and she wears dark purple lipstick. Her clothing is standard Konoha issue: a flak jacket over a black bodysuit with the sleeves pushed up, and bandages wound around her legs.

Tough and blunt, Tsume is quick to scold Kiba, whether for slacking on his training as a boy or for underestimating an enemy as dangerous as Pain. That harshness sits atop a deep devotion to her family and her village. Wild and impatient by nature, traits Kiba plainly inherited, she nonetheless keeps a cool head in a fight, and she carries an odd streak of humour, once joking that the Preta Path fled because it was frightened of her. She raised her children on her own after driving off her partner.

Fighting in the Inuzuka style, Tsume coordinates her attacks with her longtime companion Kuromaru. She uses the clan's own Four Legs Technique to move with beastlike speed and agility, and together she and Kuromaru unleash the Fang Passing Fang, a spinning assault forceful enough to hurl a target into a wall. She rounds out her arsenal with flash bombs, using the blinding burst to fall back on their keen sense of smell and hunt a foe down. She first appears defending Konoha during the invasion by Sound and Sand, later fighting beside her daughter Hana, and during Pain's assault she and Kuromaru press the Preta Path hard before it slips away.
