A chance meeting with Haku in the forest teaches Naruto that real strength comes from protecting someone precious. As he and Sasuke master tree-climbing and Naruto clashes with the bitter Inari, Team 7 heads to the bridge, where Zabuza is waiting for a rematch.
Gathering medicinal herbs in the woods, Haku comes upon Naruto asleep after a hard night of training and wakes him. Mistaking Haku for a girl, Naruto boasts about growing stronger and tries to impress the newcomer, and Haku offers a lesson in return: a person becomes truly strong only when they have someone precious to defend. Naruto takes the words to heart, even after Haku reveals the truth about being a boy.
At Tazuna's house, Sakura and Tsunami worry over Naruto spending the night alone, but Kakashi waves off their concern. Sasuke finds Naruto in the forest and prods him back to their tree-climbing drills, and the two press on until each reaches the top of his tree. Back home, a drained yet cheerful Naruto clashes with Inari, who tearfully insists the fight against Gato is hopeless and that Naruto cannot grasp real suffering. After Naruto snaps at him and leaves the table, Kakashi gently explains that Naruto, an orphan, has endured more pain than the boy realises.

We ranked the six most popular women of Naruto from worst to first, and our number one is going to start a fight. The official poll got it wrong....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
