Summary

At the Allied Shinobi Forces headquarters, a tense A recounts the history of the Gold and Silver Brothers to Tsunade. On the Land of Lightning coast, Darui, backed by Samui and Atsui, confronts Kinkaku and Ginkaku, who wield the Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths. Atsui cuts through the White Zetsu clones and charges the brothers, only for Kinkaku to snare him with the cursing rope Kokinjo. Samui rushes after her brother and is caught by the same rope.

Ginkaku uses the Shichiseiken, a blade that reveals a person's most-spoken word before severing their soul word. Atsui blurts his forbidden word, hot, and is drawn into the gourd Benihisago. Ginkaku seizes Samui and gags her, warning Darui not to move. Darui slices off Kinkaku's arm and frees Samui with his Storm Release technique, but he too is snared by the Kokinjo, and Samui is still pulled into the gourd. Deducing that prolonged silence itself triggers the curse, Darui understands why Samui had been gagged. Ginkaku sneers that deceit is a shinobi's trade and dismisses Darui as the Raikage's pawn, prompting Darui to recall A insisting he is no mere tool but his right hand.

Steeling himself, Darui declares as much, but the speech makes him utter his own most-used word, dull, and the gourd begins to draw him in. His habit of constant apologies saves him, as the word switches to his second most-common one, sorry, sparing him from the seal. He seizes both the Shichiseiken and the Benihisago, then traps Ginkaku by his most-uttered word, his brother's name Kinkaku. Enraged by the loss, Kinkaku erupts into his six-tailed jinchuriki form and rampages against the First Division.

In No-Good Words, Darui, Samui, and Atsui battle the reincarnated Gold and Silver Brothers, who wield the Sage of Six Paths treasured tools. What was Samui's forbidden word?

Samui never actually speaks a forbidden word. Ginkaku gags her before she can, and Darui later deduces that prolonged silence itself triggers the Benihisago's curse, which is why Samui is pulled into the gourd just like her brother Atsui.

How does Darui avoid being sealed by the Gold and Silver Brothers' curse?

Darui's most-spoken word, dull, nearly triggers the seal, but his habit of constantly apologizing switches the trigger to his second most-common word, sorry, which spares him from being pulled into the gourd.

How does Darui defeat Ginkaku in No-Good Words?

After surviving the curse himself, Darui seizes both the Shichiseiken and the Benihisago and turns them on Ginkaku, sealing him away by drawing out his most-uttered word, his brother's name, Kinkaku.
