Power - Episode Final

Drinking in the power stored within the Ama no Hoko, the Nine-Tailed Naruto Clone twists into a hydra-tailed version of the fox and appears to kill Disonasu. Almost surrendering to the beast's offer of strength, Naruto hears Minato urging him to master it and is wrapped in an unfinished six-tailed cloak shaped like the Nine-Tails. As he loses ground to the clone, the fox seizes his body and forces him into a seven-tailed jinchūriki state, with Yamato straining to hold it back. Amid the turmoil, Kabuto slips away despite Kakashi trailing him.

Dokku and Shiseru resolve to shut down the Ama no Hoko and bid the children farewell. On the way they admit their feelings for one another and vow to marry should they live, and when the ground begins caving in, Dokku keeps Shiseru from falling. Miina finally reaches Naruto, who reclaims control and takes on a new form to rescue Shiseru after telling Dokku to press on and silence the tower.

Recalling the melody Miina hummed, Dokku shifts the sounds of the Saezuri to switch the tower off, and Naruto destroys his clone with his new power as the Ama no Hoko sinks back and the sun rises. Kabuto later finds the fleeing Disonasu, who begs for mercy, and summons the Tonika Village Head to kill him before the reanimation is released and his body crumbles to dust. With the danger gone, Naruto and his allies celebrate with Dokku, Shiseru, and the orphans. Sometime after, Naruto, Sakura, and Sai receive a letter with photos and drawings recounting all that followed: the Saezuri resealed in the Hole, a funeral held for the massacre's victims, Dokku's marriage to Shiseru and adoption of the children, and Miina's hair slowly turning black as the power faded.

Past the closing credits, Kabuto stands among coffins holding the reanimated Akatsuki, the former Five Kage, and the fallen jinchūriki, enduring an excruciating change. Shedding his skin, he pulls on his maroon serpent cloak and glasses, then walks off smiling as a white snake slides out from beneath him, declaring it is time to see him.

This concludes the six-part Power arc, numbered 295 in Shippuden. The home-video release is a director's cut: the broadcast trimmed and re-edited the scenes after the final battle to fit the ending credits over the footage. The extended cut restores the epilogue where the trio receive Dokku's letter and photos, plus the post-credits tease of Kabuto transforming toward his later Fourth Shinobi World War appearance.
