This squad hails from Amegakure and started as a trio of Ajisai, Suiren, and Fuyo. Rather than a straightforward exam team, it advanced the aims of the Rain Village's leadership, entering foreign competition under orders that reached well beyond simply earning a rank.
Role
The group took part in the Chunin Exams jointly hosted by Konoha and Suna, where Konan handed them two objectives: to hunt for a jinchuriki and, failing that, to gauge how strong the shinobi of rival villages were. After a punishing run they cleared the second stage, and each member was raised to chunin. Their luck turned on a first S-rank job, in the course of which Ajisai was killed.
