CharacterTeam Oboro is a genin squad out of Amegakure that surfaces during the Chunin Exams, only to be turned back by Team 7 and Kabuto Yakushi. It resurfaces in the anime under Aoi Rokusho, once more crossing paths with Naruto and his teammates.

Hailing from the Hidden Rain of Amegakure, this genin team joins the field of the Chunin Exams. It never clears the exam's second test, undone in a clash with Team 7 and Kabuto Yakushi.
Role
The group returns in the anime, this time commanded by Aoi Rokusho. Its aim is to keep Idate Morino from finishing a race across the Land of Tea, but Team 7 steps in once again. Naruto turns an early stage of his Rasengan training into a churning whirlpool that drags the squad down into a trench. Because their masks most likely allow them to breathe underwater, they are presumed to have survived the ordeal. The team also shows up as a boss encounter in the game Naruto: The Broken Bond.
Notable Members
Aoi Rokusho is the figure named as the team's leader, guiding the Rain ninja during their attempt to stop Idate Morino. The unit itself carries the name of Oboro.
