CharacterTeam Samui is a Kumogakure squad led by the level-headed kunoichi Samui. The Fourth Raikage dispatches the group to Konohagakure on a diplomatic errand tangled up with Sasuke Uchiha, the missing jinchuriki B, and the looming shadow of the Akatsuki.
Overview
This team comes out of Kumogakure, the village hidden in the clouds, under the command of Samui. It is an unusual unit built from two kunoichi and a lone male ninja, a makeup unmatched among the known three-person squads. Two of its members trained directly beneath Killer B.
Role
The Fourth Raikage sends the group to the Hidden Leaf on a pointed mission. They are to notify the Hokage that the Raikage means to handle Sasuke Uchiha personally, following accusations that Sasuke had abducted B, the village's jinchuriki. The team is also charged with collecting all that Konoha knows regarding Sasuke and the Akatsuki. During their stay in the Leaf, two of its members clash with Team Kakashi, and the squad later reunites with the Raikage as he travels toward the Kage Summit.
Notable Members
Samui heads the unit and gives it her name. Two of her teammates count Killer B among their mentors. The team shares a rare distinction with Team Kakashi as well, since both alone remained untouched by the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
