Kimi Toudou

Kimi is a fair-skinned teenager of ordinary height and build whom those around her consider strikingly pretty, and boys at school flock to her. Straight dark brown hair spills to her lower back, its bangs sweeping into an 'M' shape toward the left, a cowlick popping up on that same side, and two loose strands resting on her shoulders. Her large, pale eyes usually come with a smile.

She wears a naval-style uniform built from a pleated, ruffled blue miniskirt, a white-and-blue top with a jacket, mid-shin blue socks, and brown slip-ons, though she is known to favor other fashionable outfits as well.

Bubbly, giggly, and forever chasing a good time, Kimi hides a manipulative streak beneath the cheer. She coaxes Yuki into handing over the chocolates his fan club gave him, and she torments the Prince Yuki Fan Club not out of any interest in Yuki but simply to needle its members and boost her own ego. Yuki cannot fathom why she seems to court other people's dislike on purpose.

Vain, materialistic, and certain that every man adores her, she believes she may date as many boys as she pleases so long as they fancy her, and Kakeru notes her taste for luring away those who already have girlfriends. She twists innocent things into suggestive readings and leans on her looks to get her way, once flirting a teacher into supplying the council a new whiteboard. The sweet, guileless act masks a capacity for sudden violence, as when her voice hardened and she socked Kakeru in the gut to stop him from exposing her true nature. Childish enough to speak of herself in the third person in a syrupy singsong, she is nonetheless pushy and domineering toward meeker people like Machi. For all the drama and selfishness, her antics land as comedy rather than genuine malice.

Kimi was raised in a household of three, her father having grown up an elitist in a well-off family. She traces her present self back to an incident in elementary school, when a clique of girls told her she could have anything she wanted thanks to her looks. Missing that the remark was meant as an insult, Kimi found herself agreeing, and with that unintended 'encouragement' she grew into the person she is today.

She debuts in Class 2-A and later serves alongside Naohito Sakuragi as a student council secretary during Yuki's presidency, where she and Kakeru together coin the nickname 'Yun-Yun' for the new president.
