Cony is an eighteen-year-old woman standing about 165 centimeters tall and weighing roughly 48 kilograms. In keeping with a pattern among the games' non-canon female leads, she is given reddish hair. Her weapon of choice is a set of darts.

Raised entirely inside her family home and never having ventured out, Cony is naive about the wider world yet aches to explore it, and she proves sharp-minded and resourceful when situations turn tense. She holds dear her older brother's guiding motto, that an alchemist should exist for the people, and dreams of joining the State Alchemists so her skills can better the lives of others.

Cony sets out for Central to sit the State Alchemy exam, but her train is hijacked by Bald's terrorists and she is taken hostage before the Elric brothers free her. She joins their journey, helping clear a chimera-infested town called Viva, then reaches Central only to realize she has left her qualifying essay behind; King Bradley grants her a chance by pitting her against Alex Louis Armstrong, a bout she loses. Tagging along on a chimera extermination mission, she discovers that her missing brother is alive and behind the attacks, though he now denies remembering her. After his death she is at last allowed to retake the exam, passes, and inherits his title of the Tuning Alchemist, resolving to make amends for his crimes.
