Denny Brosh is a sergeant in the Amestrian State Military and the inseparable partner of Maria Ross, a thin-skinned, soft-hearted soldier remembered as much for his crush on her as for any duty he performs.
Brosh's most commented-on feature is his hair, which closely echoes Edward Elric's style right down to the stray strand that juts up from the crown. He otherwise carries himself as an ordinary enlisted man of Central, sidearm at his hip.
Nosy and prone to slacking off, Brosh nurses an outsized infatuation with his partner Maria Ross. He bruises easily under criticism and can tumble into gloom over the smallest slight, wearing his feelings far too openly to keep a secret. That last trait is exactly why Ross, after faking her death, decides it is kinder to let him go on believing she is gone.
Brosh and Ross first enter the story when they are assigned to guard Edward Elric. In the manga, Brosh resurfaces after Ross appears to die and is crushed by the news. When Roy Mustang launches his strike on Central, he charges in meaning to help hunt the so-called demon blamed for killing her, only to catch Ross's voice over a broadcast backing Mustang's coup; recognizing it at once, he joins the resistance and reunites with her in a flood of tears. Both are later swept up in the nationwide transmutation and briefly perish, saved only by the failsafe Hohenheim wove into the circle.
The 2003 anime gives him a slightly different path. There he takes part in the uprising against King Bradley, pulling several people back from execution, and together with Ross rescues the Tringham brothers, Russell and Fletcher, after Russell's scheme to impersonate the Elrics goes wrong. The pair also back Izumi Curtis and a small detachment against the part-automail Frank Archer. His name is sometimes rendered as Denny Bloch.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
