Ruby is a teenage guard in Wisteria, a concealed town tucked into Amestris's southeast, and she features in the light novel The Valley of White Petals. War left her orphaned as a child, after which she gave her loyalty to the alchemist Raygen until the Elrics laid his crimes bare and pushed her to find her own footing.
Black eyes and black hair define Ruby's look, the hair gathered into a single high ponytail that trails down her back. Her frame is lean but well-muscled, and she stands tall enough to pass for someone a bit older than the Elric brothers, though she barely edges out Edward in height. Military surplus makes up most of her wardrobe.
Ruby shares Edward's blunt, mulish streak. Her show of confidence hid how thoroughly Raygen had come to fill her world during the years she served him; she swallowed his every word and even disowned her favorite color, the shade of the blossoms from her old home, simply because he leaned toward louder tones. He taught her that the path ahead demanded a clean break from a past she tied to weakness.
Once the brothers exposed Raygen, showing the town he had lied to everyone for personal profit while running a hidden trafficking operation, the revelation crushed her. Even so, she chose to forge a path of her own and struck down the very idol she had worshipped, coming to see at last that raw strength counts for nothing by itself.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Ruby's power in Fullmetal Alchemist comes from self-taught hand-to-hand combat, drilled daily out of a fierce dislike of losing. Her invented fighting style is strong enough that she can take on several grown men at once and win.
Ruby is a teenage guard of the hidden town of Wisteria who appears in the light novel The Valley of White Petals. Orphaned young by war, she once gave her total loyalty to the alchemist Raygen until the Elric brothers exposed his crimes.
Ruby served Raygen as her savior and former mayor so thoroughly that she abandoned her favorite color and adopted his belief that moving forward meant cutting ties with a past he framed as weakness.
When Edward and Alphonse Elric reveal that Raygen lied to the town of Wisteria for personal profit while running a hidden trafficking operation, Ruby is devastated but chooses to forge her own path and strikes down the very idol she once worshipped.
Ruby is noted as a love interest of Alphonse Elric within the story, while she also shares a rivalry with his brother Edward Elric.
