Werewolf Chimeras

Three creatures make up the pack, told apart chiefly by coat color: one wears orange fur, a second red, and a third yellow. Each is a wolf grafted onto a human frame, standing upright with a predator's build and lupine agility. The talons on their fingers double as blades, tearing free from the skin once a kill is complete. When one of them falls in combat, its body sheds the animal shape and reverts to the human it had been, though the two burned by fire never change back, hinting either that they survived or that scorched tissue cannot revert.

Colonel Herschel, later exposed as Ashleigh Crichton, produced the trio by fusing three of his underlings with three separate wolves, ordering them to bring back Julia Crichton and keep her from harm. The orange-furred member takes the largest share of the film. He first slips aboard a train meant to carry Julia, only for the girl to be absent because the Amestrian military has set a trap. When a K-9 unit sniffs out that he is no ordinary passenger, he cuts down the dog and the soldiers, sparking a commotion, then squares off against Atlas and Edward atop the carriage while a Milosian faction called the Black Bats closes in for Julia as well. Outmatched by the crowd, he retreats.

He trails Julia and the Elrics down into the valley where the Black Bats hide, tearing through their tunnels toward the base and ignoring most of his attackers, though he kills a Black Bat soldier that Edward could not shield. That death lodges in Edward, who vows to make the beast pay. Joined by Atlas and Alphonse, the chimera keeps grabbing for Julia, at one point flicking pebbles to scatter riflemen and even catching a falling stalactite to keep her from being crushed. Cornered again by Edward and Atlas and pinned inside alchemy-raised pillars, he is finished off in agony, his claws bursting from his fingers, and dies reverting to human form. The red and yellow pair, released by Herschel during the fight, reach the tunnels moments later and resurface at his side in the climax, once his kinship with Julia and his plan to bury the valley for Philosopher's Stones come to light. Sent against the Elric brothers, both wolves are ultimately roasted by Colonel Mustang.

Their footwork and reflexes rival fighters of the caliber of Lan Fan, Ling Yao, and Fu, letting them dart through gunfire and close distance in a blink. Their raw strength is considerable, though it stops short of the Armstrong bloodline or heavyweight homunculi such as Sloth and Envy. Their signature trick is the claws, which stretch outward into effective cutting tools able to slice through soldiers and stone alike.
