Summary
In Central, a large force including the Mustang Unit deploys to the Southern Slums to seize Scar, and Fuery questions using force against Ishvalan refugees while Falman warns they may distrust the military after the recent mercenary attack. Rick and Leo hunt for Scar on their master's orders, and the exiled Ishvalan grows uneasy around Scar until he notices the tattoo. At Southern Command, Armstrong and Archer identify Kimbley, the former Crimson Alchemist, while Ed and Al hold Izumi back so Envy, disguised as Bradley, can spirit the boy away.
Izumi strikes at Armstrong with alchemy, but he counters, believing he is defending the true Fuhrer. As they fight, the brothers face Bido and Kimbley, and Ed works out the secret of Kimbley's explosive alchemy while Archer eavesdrops. In a storeroom, Envy tells the boy the truth of his stolen limbs and feeds him red stones, explaining that homunculi need them to live; the boy, Wrath, recovers his memories of the Gate.
