Anti-Gurren Lagann is a machine found only in Super Robot Wars Z2: Saisei-hen, a sinister mirror of the hero mech built by the Anti-Spiral and driven by Nia so that the core mechanisms deep inside Cathedral Lazengann would stay guarded.
Exclusive to the strategy title Super Robot Wars Z2: Saisei-hen, Anti-Gurren Lagann is a dark counterpart to Gurren Lagann conjured by the Anti-Spiral. In silhouette the two are nearly the same, yet this version trades the familiar palette for black, white, and red. The torso face wears a crueler look and goes without Gurren's signature sunglasses, while a plate reminiscent of Enki shields its upper visage. The Team Dai-Gurren crest that would normally mark the pauldrons is absent here. Bandai Tamashii Nations later turned the design into a collectible figure.
Because it takes after Gurren Lagann, the mech commands a comparable arsenal of moves. Its drills, however, run longer and thinner than the standard model, though they stop short of the exaggerated slenderness seen on Lazengann, and four of them are tinted purple rather than the usual grey or green. Within the game it exists to give the Anti-Spiral assault on Earth a proper final duel, and it echoes Granzeboma as an enemy-made duplicate of the protagonist's machine meant to keep humanity from its rescue, its drills even calling to mind that boss's lashing tentacles.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Anti-Gurren Lagann is a dark counterpart to Gurren Lagann that appears exclusively in the strategy game Super Robot Wars Z2: Saisei-hen, conjured by the Anti-Spiral.
Nia Teppelin pilots Anti-Gurren Lagann as the Anti-Spiral's Messenger, using it to defend Cathedral Lazengann.
Anti-Gurren Lagann shares Gurren Lagann's silhouette but is colored black, white, and red, wears a crueler expression without Gurren's signature sunglasses, and lacks the Team Dai-Gurren crest on its shoulders.
In Super Robot Wars Z2: Saisei-hen, Anti-Gurren Lagann gives the Anti-Spiral's assault on Earth a final duel, acting as an enemy-made duplicate of the hero's machine meant to keep humanity from its rescue.
Once Nia and Anti-Gurren Lagann are beaten, Simon reaches through to her the same way he does in the animated series.
